Big Brothers-Big Sisters Bowl For Kids' Sake
Do you like bowling? If so, Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Greater Attleboro is looking for you! On Sunday May 3, 2009 we will be holding our annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake fund-raiser at North Bowl Lanes on Rt. 1 in North Attleboro. Come help raise money for children in the community. All proceeds support mentoring and site based programs.
What do you need to do? Just get a team together, or we can find a team for you and have some fun. Participants are asked to obtain a minimum of $25 (students) and $75 (adults) in donations or sponsors to cover the cost of bowling. Special awards and prizes will go to top-fund-raisers and high scores with separate categories for adults and youths. Choose a bowl time of 10AM, 11AM, Noon, or 1PM. All are welcome!
We have added a Team Challenge targeting local businesses. The team to knock down the most # of pins during their game will have their name entered into a drawing for a special team prize.

Don’t feel like bowling? Individuals may support our cause. Be a captain by organizing a team of 3-4 bowlers, volunteer at the event, or make a donation. Company and group sponsorships are more than welcome.
RELAY FOR LIFE FUNDRAISER
RELAY FOR LIFE is a foundation that helps raise money for cancer research. Each year teams of local people get together to together to help raise money for the foundation's yearly walk. To help raise money this year one of the teams is organizing a bowling tournament at North Bowl Lanes in North Attleboro, MA. It's going to be a doubles tournament (2 people per team). It’s also going to be a "no-tap" tournament, which means, if you knock down 9 pins or more it's scored as a strike. This will give everyone a chance to hopefully get some decent scores. Please remember it's a charity event and it's all in good fun.

Locals cash in at bowling tourney
 AUBURN - Three of the five teams entered by North Bowl Lanes in North Attleboro took home hardware at the Massachusetts USBC Youth Bowling Association's eighth annual Youth Leaders Doubles Scholarship Tournament.
This tournament is unique in the fact that it is run by the Youth Leaders with only supervision from the MAUSBC Association adult members. It allows youth league bowlers from all over Massachusetts to compete as a doubles team. A total of 41 teams entered the tournament with three divisions: 11-and-under mixed, 12-and-over mixed and 12-and-over boys. Each team bowled a three-game series.
